Election of officers
Chairs
Caroline Lucas MP was proposed by Baroness Stern and seconded by Lord Dear. Baroness Meacher was also proposed as Co-chair by Baroness Stern and seconded by Lord Dear. Agreed unanimously.
Vice-chairs
The following, existing vice-chairs - Lord Howarth, Lord Norton, Paul Flynn MP and Baroness Stern, with the addition of Ronnie Cowan MP, Jeff Smith MP and Baroness Joan Walmsley were proposed by Lord Dear and seconded by Lord Mancroft. Agreed unanimously.
Treasurer
Lord Howarth was proposed by Baroness Stern and seconded by Lord Dear. Agreed unanimously.
Financial report
The financial report was presented to the meeting by Lord Howarth and approved by the meeting. It was also agreed that the assets as at May 2nd 2017 and any liabilities (although none were understood to be outstanding) would be taken on.
